What is Cybercrime? (साइबर अपराध भनेको के हो?)

Cybercrime means bad things people do on the internet or with computers. They try to steal information, money, or harm others online.

साइबर अपराध भनेको इन्टरनेट वा कम्प्युटरमार्फत खराब काम गर्ने हो। मानिसहरूले अरूको जानकारी, पैसा चोर्न वा इन्टरनेटमा अरूलाई हानी पुर्‍याउन खोज्छन्।

 

Types of Cybercrime (साइबर अपराधका प्रकारहरू)

1.     Phishing (फिसिङ): Fake messages or emails to steal information like passwords.

नक्कली सन्देश वा इमेलहरू जसले पासवर्ड जस्ता जानकारी चोर्न खोज्छ।

2.     Hacking (ह्याकिङ): Entering someone’s computer or account without permission.

अरूको कम्प्युटर वा खाता बिना अनुमति प्रवेश गर्नु।

3.     Identity Theft (पहिचान चोरी): Using someone else’s information to pretend to be them.

अरूको जानकारी प्रयोग गरेर उनीजस्तै बन्ने प्रयास गर्नु।

 

How to Stay Safe (सुरक्षित रहनका उपायहरू)

1.     Strong Password (सबल पासवर्ड): Use a hard-to-guess password for your account.

आफ्नो खातामा अनुमान गर्न गाह्रो हुने पासवर्ड राख्नुहोस्।

2.     Do Not Share Personal Information (व्यक्तिगत जानकारी नदिनु): Don’t share private details like your address online.

आफ्नो ठेगाना जस्ता व्यक्तिगत जानकारी इन्टरनेटमा नदिनुहोस्।

3.     Be Careful with Emails and Messages (इमेल र सन्देशसँग सावधान हुनु): Don’t open messages from people you don’t know.

तपाईंले नचिनेका मानिसबाट आएका सन्देश नखोल्नुहोस्।

4.     Use Antivirus (एन्टिभाइरस प्रयोग गर्नु): Antivirus protects your computer from bad programs.

एन्टिभाइरसले तपाईंको कम्प्युटरलाई खराब प्रोग्रामहरूबाट जोगाउँछ।

 

What to Do if Something Bad Happens (केही नराम्रो भए के गर्ने?)

Tell your parents or teachers if you feel unsafe on the internet. They can help you stay safe.

तपाईंलाई इन्टरनेटमा असुरक्षित महसुस भएमा आफ्ना आमाबाबु वा शिक्षकलाई भन्नुहोस्। उनीहरूले तपाईंलाई सुरक्षित रहन मद्दत गर्न सक्छन्।
